As the warm weather is approaching please can you provide sun cream and a sun hat clearly labelled with your child’s name. This will allow us to take your child outside to play in the sunshine. Unfortunately, if your child has no sun cream of their own, then they will have to stay inside for their own safety. Thank you for your cooperation.
May we remind you that it is important, for Ofsted ratio requirements that nursery attendance times be strictly adhered to.

TedRothley Park Kindergarten would like to welcome ‘Ted’ as their new addition to the nursery. Ted is a 10-week-old smooth haired miniature Dachshund puppy, KC registered (Kennel Club) who will be based in the office, keeping an eye on the day to day running of the nursery. He has already been introduced to the nursery practitioners and some children.
Owning a pet provides children with significant educational and therapeutic benefits. On a serious note, for those parents with children who have emotional, learning, social or behavioural issues, or additional needs, pet ownership can sometimes be nothing short of a miracle. Shyness can be overcome, problems are more easily vocalised, and friendships can be more effectively formed in the context of animal care and interaction - You are welcome to pop into the office to say a hello to him and inform us if your child has any allergies towards dogs.
