Free Early Education Entitlement (Funding)

FEEE is available to all qualifying children the term following their turning 9 months of age, for a minimum of 38 weeks per year. This is claimed by the setting and throughout term time only. Each term can vary between 11 and 15 weeks. The funding hours will be shown on your invoice each month. Please do not hesitate to see us in the office if you have any queries regarding your child’s funding. Please provide your Child’s Birth Certificate, parent NI number and funding code, to validate your claim.

Diwali

We would like to wish all of our parents and children a very Happy Diwali on Monday 20th October we hope you enjoy your celebrations.

Nursery Photographer

Our photographer will be on site on Monday 6th October and Tuesday 7th October from 10.00am for your child’s portrait sitting. Please advise us in advance if you require a family/sibling sitting. Parents are welcome to bring along their child/ren if they do not attend those sessions. These child/ren must be always accompanied by you at all times. Parents are welcome to bring in the children’s clothing in which they prefer their child/ren photographs to be taken; staff will be able to dress them on your behalf. Please also provide them with a hairbrush/comb if necessary.

Parents Evening

On Monday 3rd November we are holding a Parents Evening between 6.30pm – 8.00pm. All parents are welcome. On week commencing 29th September a timetable on your child’s door will be available. Please add your child’s name against the time you wish to attend.

Advance Notice - Christmas Closure

We will be closing for The Christmas break on Christmas Eve at 2.30pm.

We will then be re-opening on Monday 5th January 2026 at 8am.

Calling all Reindeer’s... would you like your child to participate in “Our Fun Reindeer Run” all in the spirt of supporting local families in your lo-cal community across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland during De-cember 2025. 

If you would like your child/ren to take part in this fantastic event, we are asking a small donation of £5 per child.  
Your child will then receive: 
• A pair of Reindeer Antlers 
• Sponsorships forms to help collect that all im-portant sponsorship for Loros Hospice 
• A JustGiving page dedicated to the Reindeer Run 
• A certificate of achievement for every child taking part 

If you would like your child to take part, we would kindly ask for you to bring £5 along to the office no later than Friday 10th October 2025. We can then register your child to take part in the “Reindeer Fun Run”. 
Date to be confirmed in November, The more children that take part the more success of the event of going ahead.
