School Leavers

We would like to wish all our school leavers the very best of luck in September when they begin their next journey into school. We will miss you but please promise to come back and visit. We offer full and part time sessions as and when required on availability for all children who are leaving the nursery for school and are under the age of 5 years, during the school holiday. Please do not hesitate to speak to us in the office if you require any further assistance. We wish you all well.

Nursery Photographer

Our photographer will be on site on Monday 6th October and Tuesday 7th October from 10.00am for your child’s portrait sitting. Please advise us in advance if you require a family/sibling sitting. Parents are welcome to bring along their child/ren if they do not attend those sessions. These child/ren must be always accompanied by you at all times. Parents are welcome to bring in the children’s clothing in which they prefer their child/ren photographs to be taken; staff will be able to dress them on your behalf. Please also provide them with a hairbrush/comb if necessary.

Free Early Education Entitlement (Funding)

FEEE is available to all qualifying children the term following their turning 9 months of age, for a minimum of 38 weeks per year. This is claimed by the setting and throughout term time only. Each term can vary between 11 and 15 weeks. The funding hours will be shown on your invoice each month. Please do not hesitate to see us in the office if you have any queries regarding your child’s funding. Please provide your Child’s Birth Certificate, parent NI number and funding code, to validate your claim.

For All Nursery Leavers-Saving and Printing your Child’s Learning Journey

You can print or keep your child’s Learning Journey when they have left our nursery by following these simple instructions –
Go onto your child’s journey tab, keeping in mind that the option to download or print your child’s journey is not available on the Famly App or on your smartphone or your iPad/tablet. The journey can only be downloaded using your laptop or a desktop computer.

To print or save their entire journey you need to follow these steps-
1. Click on their journey tab.
2. Click on print then print all.
3. Select the date period you’d like to show on the file and any additional information.
4. Now, click on print.
5. Your print preview will show. From here, choose your printer as the destination if you’d like to print the file, or select Save as PDF if you’d prefer to save it on your computer digitally.
You will have up to 3 months to do this.

New Invoice Layout October 2025 Onwards

In order to comply with Government Guidelines we are obliged to display our invoices to you in a slightly different manner.
We must stress that that the fees will not change, just the display. We must now now show Extra Charges separately.
The Government have been quite clear in their guidance that their FEEE (funding) does not cover extra charges, hence the reason for showing them separately.
A further change is the display of the fees, which will now show in a more detailed format. Unfortunately this will, possibly, make the invoices more confusing, but if you need any clarification just come and see us in reception and we will explain.
You will notice the changes in your October 2025 invoices.
