23 March 2020
Dear Parents / Carers
Further to our information letter on Friday 20 March we now have received further guidance from the Government.
As you know it was our intention to remain open this week as normal. This has now changed. With immediate effect we are open for Key Worker children only. However, we would like to make it clear that, for Key Workers, the Government advice is to keep children at home wherever possible.
When attending the nursery please abide by the Government Social Distancing guidance for the protection of everyone.
The remainder of the letter is a re-iteration of the Friday 20 March 2020 to keep the message current.
We are a caring nursery and we do our utmost to try and help our parents, especially in these difficult times. Therefore, from 1April 2020, non Key Worker parents will not be charged for the duration of the emergency as their children will not be attending the nursery. Any payments or childcare vouchers received will be held on your account until normal service resumes.
It will be of great assistance to us if those Key Worker parents / carers could make themselves known to us as soon as possible so that we can arrange the necessary staffing. We already have your occupations on our registration forms but appreciate some of these may have changed.
As always, please contact the office if you need any clarification and we will do our best to help.
We wish you all well in these difficult times.
