Children in Need

Thank you to all parents, children, and staff for helping us raise a total of £102.16 for a great cause. Also, a big thank you to all those who dressed up and helped us raise money.

Christmas Parties

We will be having our Christmas tea parties in all of the rooms on the last week before Christmas, the week commencing 19th December. This has been revised from November’s newsletter and all rooms will participate. We will sing Christmas songs, play games, and have lots of fun in all of the rooms.

Car Parking

Can we please remind parents to be more vigilant when parking in the nursery grounds, as children, parents and staff are arriving and vacating the buildings at all times. Can you please ensure that you park your cars safely within the three parking areas. If there are no spaces directly in front of the nursery or bungalow, then please use the main car park. Our main priority is the safety of your children, and we thank you for your co-operation.

We would like to welcome all our new parents and children to Rothley Park Kindergarten.

Funding

FEEE is available to all children the term following their third birthday, for a minimum of 38 weeks per year. This is claimed by the setting and throughout term time only. Each term can vary between 11 weeks and 15 weeks. The deduction will be shown on your invoice each month. Please do not hesitate to see us if you have any queries regarding your child’s funding.
All new parents will be invited to discuss the funding system with the Manager before their eligibility claim date.

Christmas Dates For Your Diary

The Nursery will be closing for Christmas on Friday 23rd December at 6pm, and we will be re-open on Tuesday 3rd January 2023 at 8am.

SPRING PERIOD ENTITLEMENT 2023 – 12 WEEKS IN TOTAL
January – 4 weeks February – 4 weeks March – 4weeks

SUMMER PERIOD ENTITLEMENT 2023 – 11 WEEKS IN TOTAL
April – 3 weeks May- 3 weeks June - 3 weeks July – 2 weeks

AUTUMN PERIOD ENTITLEMENT 2023 -15 WEEKS IN TOTAL
September - 4 weeks October – 4 weeks November – 4 weeks December – 3 weeks

Late Collection of Children

All children attending 8am – 1pm must be collected no later than 1pm. This is a requirement due to the child staff ratios and the afternoon children attending. Could we please remind you also that the nursery does close at 6.00 pm and fees for late collection will automatically be added to your account.
