Summer Clothing
As the warm weather is approaching please can you provide sun cream and a sun hat clearly labelled with your child’s name. This will allow us to take your child outside to play in the sunshine. Unfortunately, if your child has no sun cream of their own, then they will have to stay inside for their own safety. Thank you for your cooperation.
We would like to welcome all of our new parents and children to Rothley Park Kindergarten.

School Leavers
We would like to wish all of our school leavers the very best of luck in September when they begin their next journey into school. We will miss you but please promise to come back and visit. We offer full and part time sessions as and when required, on availability, for all children who are leaving the nursery for school and are under the age of 5 years throughout the year and during school holiday. Please speak to us in the office. We wish you all well. We would be grateful if parents could provide us with their child’s actual leaving date (4 weeks written notice required), this will enable us to inform all new starters joining us. Please do not hesitate to speak to us in the office if you require any further assistance. Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the school leavers Graduation Party due to current circumstances.
Car Parking
Can we please ask that parents be more vigilant when parking in the nursery grounds as children, parents and staff are arriving and vacating the buildings at all times.
Can you please ensure that you park your cars safely within the three parking areas. If there are no spaces directly in front of the nursery or bungalow then please use the main car park. Rothley Park Kindergarten cannot take any responsibility for accidents that may occur whilst outside the main buildings. Our main priority is the safety of your children and we thank you for your co-operation.
Our “Pawsome” Puppy’s Progress Report
Welcoming a new puppy into our nursery has been incredibly exciting, Ted has settled into nursery life and is now in a good daily routine. Everyone has made Ted feel welcome by providing him with a relaxed environment and love. The children are showing great empathy and compassion toward Ted, while developing a higher level of self-esteem by taking care of their nursery pet owning responsibilities. Ted is already helping children who have needed a little extra reassurance, confidence, improving children’s communication skills. In order to become a good nursery pet, it is important that we teach Ted to understand right from wrong. Ted started his Puppy Training Classes in June and his progress has been excellent, learning basic obedience skills and commands. Ted is now working towards building his own confidence in being left alone so that he can be raised as an independent, calm and content dog.
