Dates for your Diary

The nursery will be closed for Easter on Friday 3rd April and Monday 6th April.
We will reopen as usual on Tuesday 7th April. We hope you all have a great break.

Free Early Years Education Entitlement

FEEE is available to all children the term following their third birthday, for a minimum of 38 week’s per year. This is claimed by the setting and throughout term time only. Each term can vary between 11 weeks and 15 weeks. The deduction will be shown on your invoice each month. Please do not hesitate to see us if you have any queries regarding your child’s funding.

Mobile and Other Recording Devices Reminder

To ensure the safety and welfare of all children in our care we operate a personal mobile phone usage policy which stipulates that personal mobile phones cannot be used by parents, visitors or staff when in the presence of children, on the premises. All staff mobile phones are placed on silence or switched off and are kept in their lockers. Staff can only use their phones within the restricted (staffroom area). As a reminder ‘Phone Prohibited’ signs are displayed at the entrance of both nursery and bungalow premises. A sign is also displayed outside on each classroom door. Our main priority is the safety of your children and we thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

Health & Safety

Please can you provide your child with nappies, wipes, creams, Calpol or Nurofen when required. We do not have any spares and we are finding this difficult to change your child accordingly without any of their own products. This is for your child’s personal needs to be met. Thank you for your co operation.

Nursery Sessions

May we remind you that it is important, for Ofsted ratio requirements that nursery attendance times be strictly adhered to.

Session Times:
Full Day 8.00am – 6.00pm
Morning 8.00am – 1.00pm
Afternoon 1.00pm – 6.00pm
Please avoid arriving before your appointed session time. Also, if you are running late please make sure you inform the office so that necessary arrangements can be made.

Easter Activity

 

What you need:

• small paper plate
• pink card
• scissors
• elastic
• craft glue
• white card
• large fawn pompom
• 3 x white chenille sticks
• pink painty pen

Activity:

Step 1: Put the paper plate up to the face and mark the eye holes and those required at the sides for the elastic. Cut out the eye holes, Cut small side holes and then thread and tie the elastic.

Step 2: Cut out some long bunny ears from the white card and glue to the top of the mask. Then cut smaller ears from pink card and attach them to the center of the white ears.

Step 3: Twist the three chenille sticks together in the center and glue to the mask for the bunny's whiskers. Then glue the pompom nose on top. Draw a mouth using the pink painty pen.

Now have fun wearing your card board bunny mask!
