We would like to welcome all of our new children and parents to Rothley Park Kindergarten.
August Bank holiday
The nursery will be closed on Monday 31 August. We will reopen as usual on Tuesday 1 September. Have an enjoyable Bank Holiday.
Free Early Education Entitlement
FEEE is available to all children the term following their third birthday, for a minimum of 38 week’s per year. This is claimed by the setting and throughout term time only. Each term can vary between 11 and 15 weeks. The funding hours will be shown on your invoice each month. Please do not hesitate to see us in the office if you have any queries regarding your child’s funding.
School Leavers
All staff at Rothley Park Kindergarten would like to wish all our children the very best who will be leaving us shortly to start their school year in September. You will be sadly missed but please visit us from time to time and share your new experiences with us. We would also like to wish all our parents farewell and hope you’ll keep in touch and share your children’s progress with us.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM ALL OF THE STAFF
Activity: Handprint Sunshine
You will need:
- Paper plate
- Yellow paint
- Black marker
- Yellow and orange paper/card
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions:
Start by painting the paper plate and leave to dry.
In the meantime, trace around your child's hand onto the three colours of paper/card. You will need about 12 handprints. A mixture of colours looks great but you could just use yellow if you prefer.Cut out the handprints. Use the black marker to draw a cheerful face on your sun. If you are using a permanent marker, you should supervise this bit carefully! Now turn the sun over and stick the handprints around the edge to form the rays.
