We would like to welcome all our new parents and children to Rothley Park Kindergarten
MOST IMPORTANT - PLEASE DO NOT COME TO NURSERY IF ANYONE IN YOUR FAMILY IS DISPLAYING SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19. THESE SYMPTOMS ALSO INCLUDE A COLD, RUNNY NOSE AND DIARRHOEA. PLEASE INFORM NURSERY IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT DELAY. NO SIBLINGS ALLOWED INTO THE PREMISES IF THEY DO NOT ATTEND ROTHLEY PARK KINDERGARTEN DUE TO COVID-19.
On Monday 28th June we will be holding our school leavers ‘Graduation Photos' between 10.00am and 2.00pm. Any children who do not attend on this day, please feel free to come along with your child and have their photo taken after 12.30pm. Prior to arrival please inform a member of staff that you will be attending and be prepared for a short wait, due to COVID, and photos are only for school leavers, no siblings.
School Leavers' Tea Party
We will be holding our school leavers' tea party over a period of three days in June for both Pre-School and Bungalow children. The dates will be confirmed in due course. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions parents will not be able to attend.
Please could you inform the reception office when you will be away on holiday. This will be very much appreciated and we hope you have a lovely time.
COVID - when returning from holiday and before returning to the kindergarten we will require a negative test result. We regret having to do this but, you will appreciate, it is for the protection of all staff and children.
As the warm weather is approaching (we hope!) please can you provide sun cream and a sun hat clearly labelled with your child’s name. This will allow us to take your child outside to play in the sunshine. Unfortunately, if your child has no sun cream of their own, then they will have to stay inside and not be able to enjoy the out-door play. Thank you for your cooperation.
To Avoid An Accident
Can all parents please ensure that their child/children are with them at all times when being collected from the nursery. It has been noted that children are running outside between parked and moving vehicles whilst parents are talking amongst themselves.
Can parents also ensure that their child/children stay with them on collection, on many occasions children are being seen by the nursery and management staff trying to open doors, running around in nursery corridors and trying to leave the premises unsupervised.
All children are to be supervised at all times when entering and leaving the premises, this is for the safety of your children.

Activity - Fathers' Day Sunday 20 JuneHere is a quick idea for a nice piece of memorabilia, for Father’s Day. Simply paint your child’s hand and take prints of them, add a little poem or a photo. Then simply hang with string at the back.
Ideal for a nice Father’s Day present.
